  • Live Music: Barbara and … Portuguese-American Club - Friday, November 1st at 7:00pm - Barbara Puciul and fellow musicians rock the P.A. Club.         
  • Fright Fest: Spirits and Spirits - Friday, November 1, 2024 7pm - Join us on the porch at 6 p.m. to indulge in mulled wine, mulled cider, seasonal beer, apple cider floats, Morning Glory Farm donuts and other autumnal treats -- if you dare. The performance begins promptly at 7 p.m., so arrive early for the full experience! Step into a night of spine-tingling storytelling as local performers bring haunting tales to life. Throughout the evening, experience the unsettling charm of Welcome to Night Vale, adding an extra layer of mystery and suspense, accompanied by live music that deepens the atmosphere. This evening of dark stories and creeping dread is designed for those who crave the eerie thrill of the season.
  • Barn Raisers Day - Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00am to 1:00pm - To celebrate the 30th anniversary of our community barn raising, we are building tiny Ag Halls! Visit the Ag Hall to enjoy snacks and warm drinks while working to construct a barn of your own—a model of the Ag Hall built from candy, cardboard, craft supplies, legos, and more! All materials will be provided (although you are welcome to bring your own!). This event is for all ages. Entries will be displayed at the Barn Raisers Ball, where people will vote for their favorite entry, and winners will receive a free 2025 Ag Society membership!
  • Parker House Rolls with Vineyard Baker - Saturday, November 2nd from 10am to 12pm - Just in time for all your holiday meals, learn how to make these delicious Parker House rolls from scratch in this hands-on class! Teri will walk participants through the steps of bread baking including shaping and rolling dough. All participants will make their own rolls to take home with them.
  • Barn Raisers Ball - Saturday, November 2nd from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM - We're excited to dance the night away with you all to celebrate the 1994 construction of our barn by over 300 community members! 30 years later, community still makes all our work possible, and we ca't wait to celebrate with you all. Like past years, this will be a BYOB event with a dessert potluck and music by Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish.
  • Haunted or Trick or Treat Escape Room Event - Sat & Sun Nov 2 & 3 from 11:00am to 4:00pm - Play our fun and immersive escape room games and create new memories. Work with your team to solve a series of puzzles in our Halloween-themed escape rooms. Our popular Jaws room is haunted with new scary puzzles. Encounter spooky characters as you solve the puzzles and save the town of Amity from another Jaws attack. Our Vineyard Pirate Mystery room is now a trick-or-treat style kid-friendly simplified version of our adult game. Get candy in the boxes when you solve puzzles. Chase Pirate Captain Drew Whitney around famed Martha's Vineyard landmarks and recover the famed Flying Horses Carousel brass ring that he stole.
  • Brews Brothers Taproom Trivia - Wednesdays in November from 7:00pm to 9:00pm - Weekly trivia night at The Wharf Pub on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., brought to you by Morning Glary Farm's field crew manager Ryan Hassel and chef de cuisine Douglas Williams. Each week the duo mixes it up with new and interesting categories, from Game Show Name That Tune to One of these things is not like the other - to challenging island, food and farm trivia. All are welcome! Teams encouraged. Food, fun and prizes!
  • Black Dog Trivia Night - Thursdays in November from 6:00pm to 8:00pm - Prizes for the top three-placing teams. Maximum team size: six players. Email abattistini@theblackdog.com to reserve your table. Dinner specials and fall drinks also available.
  • The Martha's Vineyard Childre's Film Festival - Friday, November 8th at 6:00pm & Saturday, November 9th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm - Get ready for an unforgettable weekend with the whole family! The Martha’s Vineyard Children’s Film Festival is packed with an amazing lineup of films and exciting activities that will leave your kids buzzing with joy. This is a free event! Be sure to reserve your spot for the film screenings, as space is limited.
  • East African Dance with Godfrey Muwulya - Saturday, November 9th from 9:30am to 11:30am - Ugandan dancer, educator, and musician Godfrey Muwulya returns to the Island with his high-energy workshops in East African traditional dances, drumming, and music for all ages. This program is co-sponsored by the Yard.
  • Featherstone's Annual Holiday Gift Show - November 12th - December 15th open 12-4PM daily - Save the dates for Featherstone's 22nd Annual Holiday Gift Show! Celebrate the holiday season while supporting Island artists and Featherstone! The perfect holiday shopping destination with gifts for everyone (and yourself) - handmade creations including paintings, photography, pottery, crafts, jewelry, knitwear, clothing, accessories, ornaments, cards, calendars and stocking stuffers. Buy local and support local artists all while supporting Featherstone as well! 'Tis the season for supporting the arts community!
  • Oak Bluffs 5K Turkey Trot - Thursday, November 28th at 8:30am - Thanksgiving morning 5K through Oak Bluffs. The proceeds benefit the Oak Bluffs School Class of 2025. Registration: $20 cash or check. Race day registration at MV Chowder Company. 8:30 a.m. start time.
  • Thanksgiving Dinner 2024 at Bettini Restaurant - Thursday, November 28th from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM - This Thanksgiving, celebrate with us at Bettini Restaurant for a delightful four-course dinner with stunning views of Edgartown Harbor and Lighthouse. Savor the flavors of home in a truly memorable setting.
  • Annual Fall Festival at Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary - Friday, November 29th from 10:00am to 2:00pm - Join us as we celebrate our 43nd Annual Fall Festival! This celebration of fall is a Vineyard tradition held the day after Thanksgiving, and draws hundreds of islanders and visitors each year. With hayrides, crafts, food, and wreath making, there is fun to be had by the whole family!
