  1.  Our Town at the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse - through November 3 at 7:30 pm - Don’t miss this new production of the classic play by Thornton Wilder!
  2. Saturday, November 2nd - Feed a Pig a Pumpkin & Story Hour at the FARM Institute at 10:00 am - Wondering what to do with that jack o'lantern on your porch now that Halloween has passed? Come feed it to our pigs as a treat. We'll have spoons to scrape the inside of your pumpkin to make sure there is no wax or other residue and then feed to our four pigs. Appropriate for all ages, no registration required
  3. Sat, November 9th - West Tisbury Farmers' Market at the Ag Hal from 10:00-1:00 - Indoor farmers market features locally grown produce and meat and locally made products. The market is dedicated to bringing local agricultural products to the people both living on and visiting the Island. 
  4. Sat, November 9th - MET Opera Live: Madama Butterfly at the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center at 12:55 pm - Leading sopranos Hui He and Ana María Martínezshare the heartbreaking title role of the doomed geisha, with tenors Piero Pretti and Andrea Carè as the American naval officer who abandons her. The great Plácido Domingo makes his role debut as Sharpless, alternating with Paulo Szot and Markus Brück. Pier Giorgio Morandi is on the podium for Anthony Minghella’s sweeping production, a perennial audience favorite.
  5. Sunday, November 10th - Artisans' Fair - at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center from 10:00-3:00 - Local Vineyard artisans will be selling stainless steel and metal sculpture, pottery, jewelry, wool, angora and silk clothing, bags and pillows, photography and paintings, cheese boards, baby hats, table runners and more. There will also be a bake sale. Sponsored by the Religious School.
  6. Sundays in November - Opera Night at La Soffitta from 4:00 to 9:00 - Listen to the world's favorite arias and duets while enjoying the Vineyard's finest Italian cuisine. With Jenny Friedman, soprano; David Behnke, baritone; and Molly Sturges, keyboard.
  7. Saturday, November 16th - Holiday Gift Show at Featherstone Center for the Arts from 12:00-4:00 - Celebrate the holiday season while supporting Island artists and Featherstone. The perfect holiday shopping destination with gifts for everyone (and yourself) - handmade creations including paintings, photography, pottery, crafts, jewelry, knitwear, clothing, purses, accessories, soaps, dog goods, ornaments, cards, calendars and stocking stuffers. Buy local and support local artists all while supporting Featherstone as well - 50% of proceeds benefit the art center.
  8. Wednesday, November 27th  - Live Music: Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish at the Ritz Cafe @ 8:30 pm - Celebrate Thanksgiving eve with the iconic Vineyard blues band featuring Johnny Hoy, Jeremy Berlin, Delanie Pickering and Kevin Medeiros.
  9. Friday, November 29th - Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary Fall Festival from 11:00-3:00 - Join Felix Neck for the 39th annual Fall Festival. This celebration of fall is a Vineyard tradition held the day after Thanksgiving. With hayrides, face-painting, live music, food, crafts for kids, live animals and trail walks there is something for everyone and fun to be had by the whole family.
  10. Saturday, November 30th - Vineyard Artisans Annual Thanksgiving Weekend Festival at the Ag Hall from 10:00-4:00 - The holiday art show by Islanders, features many holiday gifts such as one of a kind winter hand-made sweaters, hand-made soaps, Island lavender, and fine crafts including leather and vintage material bags, wood butcher block cutting boards, and so much more.
