Stone Carving Demonstration by Chris Pellettieri - Saturday, October 1 at 10:00am - Join us in welcoming Chris Pellettieri, traditional stone carver and founder of Pellettieri Stone Carvers’ Academy, as he sets up a workshop at MVM where visitors can watch him at work, ask questions, and even try their hand at using a few simple hand tools to chip away at a block of stone.

Gay Head 10K Road Race - Sunday, October 2 at 10:30am - This USATF-certified 10K (6.2 miles) road race is held each year to support the restoration of the recently relocated Gay Head Lighthouse. Run from under the famed lighthouse’s beam, down State Road through lovely, rolling hills, to Moshup Trail, along the scenic, dune-filled coast, and back to the lighthouse.
