As a result, our glassblowing assistant positions are some of the most desirable jobs for experienced glass workers.

 

The Granary - 636 Old County Rd, West Tisbury

The Granary Gallery, located in the iconic red barn, is the oldest and largest art gallery on Martha’s Vineyard. It is a fun adventure for the entire family and an essential destination for the serious art lover. The Gallery features an indoor gallery and an art-filled courtyard gallery. Our West Tisbury location is a magnificent setting to enjoy exquisite fine art paintings, drawings of landscapes, still-life compositions, and photo-realism by well-known national, regional and local artists – alongside the work of exciting emerging artists.

 

The Field Gallery - 1050 State Rd, West Tisbury

The Field Gallery offers a comfortable, supportive, ever-changing exhibition environment, featuring contemporary art by both emerging and established artists. Founded in 1970, the gallery hosts three spaces with rotating exhibits of paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry and more. Outside, the large field is home to the whimsical sculptures of Field Gallery founder Thomas Maley, the modern stone sculptures of Lew French and many others. We continue to host an impressive group of more than 25 talented artists all with an island connection and endless Vineyard charm.

 

Old Scuplin Gallery - 58 Dock St, Edgartown

The mission of the MVAA is to preserve and enhance the cultural life of the Vineyard community by providing quality art education, annual scholarship awards, exhibition opportunities for artists in the historic Old Sculpin Gallery, and curating our permanent collection of island art.

 

Alison Shaw Gallery - 88 Dukes County Ave, Oak Bluffs

Over 10,000 of Alison’s original fine art prints are in public and private collections. There are 20 books of her work so far, including the book she wrote about photographing Martha’s Vineyard, and five cookbooks. She teaches photography workshops on the Vineyard every fall (since 1988), in Maine every July, and a number of international locations since 1995.

 

The  Martha’s Vineyard Center for the Visual Arts - 99 Dukes County Ave, Oak Bluffs

The Martha's Vineyard Center for the Visual Arts is a non-profit organization that provides grant funding to island artists annually. The grant program for 2018 includes assisting eleven island artists who will work together as a co-operative gallery to exhibit and sell their work at the ART GALLERY from May through September.
