- Beach Grass Planting on Cape Poge Wildlife Refuge - Saturday, March 9 from 10:00am to 1:00pm - Calling all volunteers to join us on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for help with planting beach grass to begin our stabilization efforts at the Cape Pogue Wildlife Refuge. - Annual Farm Institute Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 30 from 9:45am to 10:45am - Join us for on the farm for an egg-ceptional egg hunt! There will be three separate egg hunts based on age: 2 and under, 3-5, and 6 and up for the more advanced egg hunt participants. Each age category features one golden egg with a special prize, will you be the one to find it? The 2 and under egg hunt begins at 9:45 a.m., the 3-5 age group egg hunt begins at 10:15 a.m., and the 6 and up age group egg hunt begins at 10:30 a.m. Please note you must sign up for the correct time slot for your child. - Yoga with Jay - Sundays in March at 3:30 -Enjoy Sunday morning yoga with Jason Mazar-Kelly, a certified yoga teacher with thousands of hours of experience in the wellness field. He has been practicing yoga, meditation, and other mindfulness modalities since 2011 and teaching yoga and meditation since 2014. He has taught all over New England, assisted teacher training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and provides yoga, meditation, and other mindfulness services to a variety of populations from kids to adults. He specializes in breathwork, meditation, and movement for resilience and relaxation, as well as yoga philosophy and the subtle anatomies of yoga.
- Exhibit: Clearly Misunderstood: C.F. Giordano - Daily in March - The years of COVID were challenging, but for Islanders there were also moments of great creative expression. For some, it was a time for bringing to life projects that, under normal circumstances, would never have been imagined. This was the case for Charlie Giordano and the motorcycle he calls Voodoo Doll. Built over the course of two years in his West Tisbury shop, it is a love letter to art, motorcycles, and to perseverance.
