- Herb Foster's Birthday Fundraiser - Saturday, February 1st from 4:00pm to 6:00pm - Join the Friends of the Library on the anniversary of what would have been former beloved trustee Herb Foster's 97th birthday to socialize, reminisce, celebrate, eat hot dogs, and donate! Please bring a dessert to share. There will be refreshments and hot dogs with coleslaw prepared by Chef Look. A little bit about the fund: The Herb & Anita Foster Staff Education Fund was established by the Friends in January 2021. This earmarked fund supports professional development for library staff members who wish to pursue educational endeavors that support and enhance their role at the library.
- The Jeremy Berlin Trio at Pathways - Saturday & Sunday February 1st & 2nd at 6:30pm - The spirit of the evening remains the same as the last 2 years: a chance to see different styles, personalities, and levels of experience, all in an intimate setting. What is different from the past is that it’s not so much focused on jazz as it is on what the singers feel comfortable bringing to the table. The boundary is really, does the song have the capacity to be delivered by our trio and the singer who wants to sing that song?
- Martha's Vineyard Community Seed Library’s Annual Seed Swap - February 2nd from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the West Tisbury Library - Bring any open-pollinated or heirloom seed packets or saved seed to swap and share or donate to the seed cabinet. Check in your seeds, learn about germination testing, talk to gardening pros, and learn about making leaf mold.
- Offering of Music and Light - February 2nd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm - Island artists and musicians join together to brighten the darker days of winter. - Friends of Family Planning Lip Sync Contest - February 7th at 6:00pm at the LOFT MV - Friends of Family Planning is bringing back the excitement and energy of its signature Lip Sync Contest for the 4th year. Join us on Friday, February 7th, 2025, at The Loft in Oak Bluffs for a night of music, fun, and community spirit that you won’t want to miss!
- Local Food Community Potluck - February 10th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm - Our second of three community dinners this winter: enjoy a warm meal and spend time with friends old and new at the Ag Hall! - Comedy with TBD Improv - February 14th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm - Valentine's Day is the time for our saucy improv show for lovers (and anti-lovers)! If you're looking for a high energy, comedy show, this is it! It's happening upstairs at the Barn, Bowl & Bistro. Come join us for a drink and a lot of laughs! Unscripted and spontaneous, Vineyard-based improvisers from New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia, and beyond, bring the laughs using their wits and suggestions from the audience. It's highly interactive and highly entertaining. This polished and expertly hosted show will have you rolling on the floor! - MV Winter Classic and Amity Relay - February 15th 11:00am to 3:00pm - The 27th MV Winter Classic and Amity Relay (formerly the MV 20 Miler) will take place on Feb. 15, 2025. The race benefits many island youth groups.

- Skate With Me - Mondays in February from 10:30am to 11:30am - Join the Family Center & Caregivers and their kids for indoor skate. Bundle up and bring your strollers for fun indoor exercise. Kids must be in helmets on the ice. Helmets and skates are available. Drop ins welcome.
- Game Night at the Barn - Wednesdays in February from 7:30pm to 10pm - Come join us downstairs at the Barn Bowl & Bistro for a variety of board games and socializing. We meet weekly at 7:30 p.m and newcomers are always welcome.
